Short Summary:
The Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure Architect will work with strategic enterprise customers and Systems Integrators, focusing on the architectural validation and design of VMware Cloud Foundation deployments. This role involves hands-on work in designing software-defined data centers and guiding clients through their modernization journeys.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers, guiding them through the design and deployment of VMware Kubernetes solutions.
- Drive customer success through architecture workshops, technical deep-dives, and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).
- Deliver resilient solution architectures for Kubernetes networking and manage advanced configurations.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Systems Integrator partners to develop customer proposals.
- Build and share reusable reference architectures and deployment patterns to accelerate customer adoption.

Requirement:
- 10+ years in technology-related engineering or consulting roles, with expertise in enterprise IT architecture and private cloud infrastructure.
- Proven success working directly with enterprise customers and global Systems Integrators.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to articulate infrastructure complexities to executive decision-makers.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time for on-site workshops and client deployments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
