Short Summary:
As a member of the Radiology R&D Leadership Team, the Head of Clinical Development Diagnostic Drugs is responsible for the overall leadership of the Clinical Development function, contributing to the Radiology R&D vision and strategy, and ensuring sustainable success in a competitive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leader.
- Contribute to the overall Radiology vision and global strategy.
- Lead and oversee early and late clinical development across the Diagnostic Drugs portfolio.
- Ensure rapid, compliant, and scientifically rigorous progression of in-licensed molecular imaging tracers.
- Conduct extensive clinical and scientific Due Diligences for in-licensing opportunities.
- Lead and coach a team of Global Clinical Leaders.
- Design, conduct, and report clinical studies in accordance with the Radiology strategy.
- Contribute to medical and scientific dialogue with global regulatory health authorities.
- Oversee scientific and medical interpretation of clinical research data.
- Provide expert input to R&D teams regarding strategic drug development decisions.
- Ensure a state-of-the-art product development strategy for competitive positioning.
Requirement:
- MD or PhD in pharmacy, life sciences, or equivalent.
- Extensive clinical development and R&D experience in diagnostic imaging.
- Proven leadership of global clinical teams and due diligence experience.
- Strong regulatory and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English; German preferred.
