Short Summary:
Join Aprio's Information Technology team as a Tax Technology Automation Manager, where you will help clients maximize their opportunities and drive organizational change through technology and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with all levels of the organization to implement changes in business processes and application practices.
- Perform planning and analysis of new or revised information systems and related technologies.
- Stay updated on current and upcoming technology and software offerings in the industry.
- Communicate with tax practice leadership on new technologies and provide recommendations for software testing.
- Develop and manage a charter and timeline for testing and implementing new technology.
- Serve as a project manager for key departmental initiatives.
- Analyze audiences and develop effective communication strategies.
- Monitor compliance with department policies and procedures.
- Support development of software or system functional specifications.
- Use data analysis techniques to gain insights from various sources.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Familiarity with tax software required (e.g., Practice Engine, CCH Axcess Tax).
- Keen attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong analytical skills.
- 2+ years of experience documenting processes and practices.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Expert knowledge of Excel and mid-level knowledge of database principles.
- Understanding of APIs and relational databases.
