Short Summary:
Join Aprio's Tax team as a Senior Tax Associate, where you will help clients maximize their opportunities in a progressive, fast-growing firm.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize the company's tax position.
- Collaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
- Coordinate workload distribution, projects, and training initiatives within the tax department.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Recent work experience with an accounting firm.
- 3-5 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance in public accounting.
- Experience in Corporate, S-Corp, and/or Partnership returns.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology.
