Short Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Trainer, Manufacturing to develop and deliver training programs for our Manufacturing teams supporting our cutting-edge production lines across multiple Anduril sites. This role is essential for building a skilled workforce that adheres to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person, on-the-job, and classroom-style training for new hires and technicians across multiple product lines.
- Support the development and maintenance of training content focusing on essential technical skills, equipment operation, quality practices/processes, and safety procedures.
- Conduct hands-on, practical training sessions directly on the production floor.
- Enforce the development and standardization of skills matrices and on-the-job training documentation.
- Create and continuously improve training materials tailored to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with SMEs, production leadership, and stakeholders to inform learning objectives and ensure content aligns with operational goals.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized training or equipment.
- Support the development of standardized record-keeping processes and training effectiveness tracking.
- Partner with instructional designers and LMS professionals to ensure content relevance.
- Instill a strong culture of safety in all training activities.
- Travel 40–50% of the time to support multiple manufacturing sites.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience as a technician or technician trainer in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and tooling, standard practices, and safety standards.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other documentation tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel 40–50% of the time.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information.
