Short Summary:
Join Aleph in shaping the future of digital advertising. As a Principal Engineer, you will own the technical direction for integrating major social and ad platforms, ensuring resilience and evolution in our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Set the technical direction for new products and major changes.
- Build production code on high-leverage paths and prototype uncertain approaches.
- Define service and data contracts, integration patterns, and resilience strategies.
- Lead diagnosis on production incidents and performance regressions.
- Mentor engineers and tech leads, setting standards in code review.
- Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions against integration and data requirements.

Requirement:
- Substantial experience as a staff/principal engineer on integration-heavy, data-heavy systems.
- Depth in at least one of PHP, Go, or Python, with comfort across a polyglot estate (TS/JS).
- A track record of modernizing legacy systems incrementally.
- Fluency in integration and data patterns.
- Experience driving technical decisions through influence rather than authority.
