As the Team Lead, Marketing Vertical Growth, you’ll lead two vertical growth marketing managers and own our pipeline target. This is a player-coach role. You lead the team, set the plan and ensure it turns into qualified demand. At the same time, you build and launch campaigns and marketing activities yourself, hands-on.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the Team: Manage and coach two full-stack marketing managers, each owning a vertical. Review their marketing plans, set clear goals, and hold them to the timeline.
• Keep Execution on Track: Run regular check-ins on progress, budget, and results.
• Build and Launch Hands-On: Build the marketing plan for your brand and launch campaigns and activities across channels, end to end.
• Own the Pipeline: Own pipeline targets for all verticals and report on them every month.
• Set the Demand Gen Strategy: Set the demand gen strategy for each new vertical: target accounts, buyer personas, channel mix, budget, and pipeline goals.
• Run Global Programs: Build and run global B2B demand gen programs: ABM, paid, email, events, webinars.
• Win Priority Accounts: Run ABM plays for priority accounts across leagues, broadcasters, and rights holders.
• Manage Paid Media: Manage paid media budgets and optimize for cost per opportunity and pipeline ROI.
• Partner with Sales: Work with Sales and SDRs on targeting, lead handoff, and follow-up.
• Track the Funnel: Work closely with marketing tech ops to track the full funnel in HubSpot, from first touch to closed deal. Define and report on MQLs, SALs, conversion rates, pipeline value, and velocity.

What you’ll need:

• All-Around Marketer: You’ve been the go-to marketer at a B2B startup, without a big team behind you. You’ve done the hands-on work across campaigns, content, digital, events, and marketing ops.
• 6+ years of Global B2B Demand Gen: A track record of building pipeline that closed.
• 2+ years of People Management: Proven experience leading marketers and keeping a team on plan and on target.
• AI-First: You use AI tools every day to create campaigns and marketing collateral.
• Analytical: Strong command of marketing automation and CRM (HubSpot preferred).
• Clear Writer: Sharp, clear writing in English.
