Their AI has to stand up to everyday therapeutic use, which is why they focus on technical excellence with real added value. ## Tasks * Own features end to end, by yourself – from the problem through architecture, implementation, release and the fixes that follow, frontend, backend and everything in between; nobody hands you a finished spec and nobody finishes your work for you * Make the technical decisions, from choosing a library to architecting a new feature, and defend the decision when it is questioned * Integrate AI into the product, working with our AI services to build dependable systems around probabilistic output * Build real-time features with WebSocket-based live capabilities where latency is visible to the user * Ship on desktop and mobile, working on our Electron app (main and renderer architecture, native OS integration, auto-update, offline-first behaviour) and React Native app * Iterate fast with continuous deployment and short cycles, ensuring design controls and traceable test evidence on the surfaces that fall under EU MDR * Take initiative creating tickets and implementing them end-to-end ## Requirements * Genuinely full-stack. Strong React and TypeScript on the front end, and real backend work behind it: API design, data modelling, relational databases, async and background processing. You have built and operated both halves of a feature, not consumed an API someone else wrote * You have shipped software that real users depend on, and you supported it afterwards. You know what breaks in production and why * Debugging strength across the whole stack. When something is wrong you find it rather than guess at it * Real autonomy. You identify what needs doing, decide, and ship. No standup is what keeps you moving * Empathy for the people who use what you build. Our users are therapists under time pressure, and you are curious enough about their work to build something they actually love * Clear written English and comfort working async * React, TypeScript, API design * Data modelling * Relational databases * Async processing * Debugging * LLM application engineering: evaluation, prompt pipelines, agent tooling, latency and cost optimisation * Electron or another desktop platform, including distribution, code signing and auto-update * React Native, and experience publishing to the App Store and Play Store * Audio processing, transcription or other real-time media * Healthcare, GDPR-heavy or other regulated environments * German. Our users, their documents and our support conversations are in German * Excellence and Drive are required.
