Short Summary:
Join Wise as a Senior Software Engineer in the Account Integrity team, focusing on solving complex financial crime problems to protect our global customer base.

Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve financial crime prevention infrastructure and systems.
- Deliver measurable impact on customer security by owning projects.
- Build and refine controls to protect customer accounts from takeovers.
- Work 80% on backend and 20% on frontend for crime prevention systems.
- Secure customers' money and accelerate product growth through automation.

Requirement:
- Professional experience with Java or JVM-based languages, including Spring framework.
- Experience in building scalable web applications, ideally with React, Javascript/Typescript.
- Proven experience in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems.
- Strong product mindset and ability to drive projects independently.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization.
- Commitment to Test Driven Development and best coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts across teams.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle.
