You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- EU Taxonomy Compliance & Implementation: Leading EU Taxonomy assessments and driving cross-functional implementation of regulatory reporting requirements across functions, business units, and regions together with Corporate Accounting
- Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure: Owning and continuously improving sustainability reporting processes, ensuring accurate, auditable, and compliant disclosures in line with EU Taxonomy and support ESRS requirements
- ESG Data Management & Performance Reporting: Owning and continuously improving Webasto’s ESG data management IT system (i.e. Sphera), ensuring high-quality, audit-ready sustainability data, KPI/metric transparency (CSRS/ESRS), and stakeholder reporting through effective systems, processes, and stakeholder coordination
- Sustainability Program & Strategy Execution: Supporting the implementation of Webasto’s sustainability strategy by coordinating governance bodies and global sustainability program, monitoring strategic objectives, key results and targets, and maintaining sustainability policies, processes, and governance frameworks
This is what you bring to us:
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Professional experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data management (e.g. Sphera) and/or sustainability consulting
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, management and regulations, particularly EU Taxonomy, and related sustainability disclosure requirements e.g. ESRS
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with experience managing complex datasets, KPIs, reporting IT systems, and data quality processes
- Strong program management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and drive implementation across global organizations
- Excellent communication skills in German and English in a must, with the ability to translate complex sustainability topics into clear, actionable messages for executives and employees
- Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing industry is an advantage
