Junior Production Designer - Menus

What You'll Do

• Update and version menus across locations: seasonal menus, new items, removed items, pricing changes and monthly features
• Build test menus for one or two locations at a time, adjusting layouts as items are added, swapped or removed
• Apply state- and market-specific requirements accurately across menu versions
• Produce collateral that supports the menu, such as chef recommendations, wine pairing inserts, tasting menus and holiday menus
• Work directly with the menu and strategy team to receive changes, ask the right questions and turn around revisions quickly
• Prepare print-ready files with correct bleeds, color profiles and preflight standards for a local print partner
• Proof every version carefully for pricing, spelling, alignment and consistency before release
• Keep files, templates and versions organized so the latest menu is always easy to find

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in production design, menu design or high-volume print production
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, plus working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid understanding of print production: bleeds, color profiles, image resolution and file packaging
• An exceptional eye for detail; you catch the misaligned price and the missing accent mark
• Comfort working within existing templates and brand guidelines rather than reinventing them
• Ability to manage many small, fast-turn requests at once without losing track of versions
• Clear, responsive communication with non-design stakeholders
• Restaurant, hospitality or retail menu experience is a strong plus

You'll Thrive Here If…

• You find satisfaction in getting things exactly right, version after version
• You stay calm when a launch plan changes the day before it's due
• You like structure and keep your files tidier than anyone else on the team
• You can work independently and remotely while staying tightly in sync with your partners
