Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years with Oracle Database
• Strong expertise in performance tuning and SQL plan optimization• Deep understanding of Oracle PL/SQL as a business logic layer• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, backup/recovery
• Experience with large-scale OLTP systems and high-availability architectures
• Solid Linux/Unix skills• Experience working with external clients
• Professional-level English

Key responsibilities

– Maintain and optimize Oracle databases that support critical business logic, including PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and triggers
– Perform database performance tuning and analyze SQL execution plans to identify and resolve the root causes of slow business operations
– Ensure high availability of Oracle databases using RAC, Data Guard, and clustering solutions
– Collaborate with internal teams and client-side specialists to troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and design fault-tolerant configurations
– Participate in database migrations, load testing, and impact analysis of new features
– Contribute to solution design, implementation planning, and technical documentation
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents in production and pre-production environments
– Support the setup and integration of new environments for clients worldwide
