Short Summary:
Waabi is a leader in Physical AI, focused on transforming autonomous transportation. The role involves building a multi-sensor simulation stack and managing asset pipelines for simulation-ready representations.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team of Research Scientists and Engineers.
- Architect and own asset pipelines from raw sensor logs to simulation-ready representations.
- Design schemas, formats, and storage for a heterogeneous asset library.
- Build tooling and visualization for asset inspection and curation.
- Integrate cutting-edge research into the pipeline.
- Collaborate with autonomy and safety teams to meet training demands.
Requirement:
- Experience in shipping production-quality software at scale.
- Built or extended large-scale 3D content pipelines.
- Fluent in modern 3D representations and understand trade-offs.
- Experience designing and debugging GPU jobs in the cloud.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and a native systems language (C++ or Rust).
