Senior QA Tester - Paper.io 2

Join Voodoo's Live Games team and work on Paper.io 2, a globally recognized mobile game. You will collaborate with experienced professionals in a small team responsible for the game's ongoing development, testing, and quality.
The role focuses on comprehensive manual testing, improving game quality and player experience, monitoring technical performance indicators, and collaborating with design, development, and central technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive manual testing of mobile games, identify defects, document issues, and take ownership of the QA process to ensure product quality and a strong user experience.
• Create processes and tools that improve game quality. Monitor technical KPIs for live games and propose strategies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with design and development teams, understand game mechanics, and provide feedback to refine the product. Design test plans for new features and releases.
• Prioritize and execute testing tasks across different development stages, aligning with project timelines and objectives. Independently investigate and address discovered issues, contribute to constructive team communication, and collaborate with central technology teams on quality initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer in mobile games, with a track record of taking ownership and successfully completing projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage tasks independently from start to finish. A reliable, proactive attitude, teamwork skills, and the ability to take responsibility are essential.
• Passion for mobile games, an understanding of player expectations, and proven experience with mobile game testing tools and methodologies are required. Strong communication skills and fluent spoken and written English are also required.
• Knowledge of free-to-play (F2P) games, game design principles, and release management is a plus.
