Short Summary:
Virta Health is on a mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people through technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery. This role involves building and evolving Virta’s data engagement platform, focusing on member marketing and coverage eligibility data.

Responsibilities:
- Design and own data contracts and processing semantics.
- Build end-to-end observability and reconciliation for data outcomes.
- Lead technical discovery and delivery across Member Marketing and Coverage Eligibility.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate audience and workflow requirements.
- Design for correctness and auditability in regulated workflows.
- Modernize legacy processes toward event-driven integrations.
- Own systems end-to-end, driving improvements in reliability and maintainability.
- Apply an experiment mindset to validate assumptions and focus on outcomes.

Requirement:
- Strong backend engineering skills with experience in scalable systems.
- Experience designing data-intensive systems with a focus on correctness.
- Proactive ownership mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to mentor.
- Experience with B2B or partner-facing data systems.
- Sound judgment about AI-assisted tooling.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Typically 10+ years of software engineering experience.
