The North America Sales Director, Consumer Products & Materials (CP&M) is responsible for leading the commercial strategy, sales execution, and market expansion across the region. This role drives revenue growth, profitability, customer engagement, and market share through a high-performing sales and applications organization.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and applications team to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals across North America.
- Drive pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and funnel management activities to ensure consistent achievement of business targets.
- Develop and execute market growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities through direct sales and manufacturer representative channels.
- Build executive-level relationships with key accounts, conducting regular business reviews to expand strategic partnerships and customer value.
- Collaborate with Marketing to define and execute regional demand generation, segmentation, and market penetration strategies.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and business intelligence dashboards to make data-driven decisions and improve commercial effectiveness.
- Lead weekly sales, funnel, and forecast reviews while partnering cross-functionally to resolve customer, operational, and business challenges.
- Recruit, engage, and develop talent while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, science, or business-related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, including 7+ years leading high-performing sales teams in a global industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and business development in complex B2B sales organizations.
- Experience selling through both direct customer engagement models and manufacturer representative/channel partner networks.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and retain top-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills with experience engaging customers and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to lead change, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to travel 40- 50% of the time.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $170,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
