Short Summary:
Are you an experienced Senior Business Controller who enjoys turning financial insights into business decisions? Join Vattenfall as a Senior Business Controller and play a key role in driving performance and enabling strategic decision-making across Business Area Wind.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and continuously improve BA Wind's planning and control framework.- Lead and coordinate performance management, business planning, and forecasting activities.- Manage the monthly reporting and forecasting process across BA Wind.- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and financial governance requirements.- Safeguard the integrity and reconciliation of financial data across systems and reporting platforms.- Prepare management reporting, performance reviews, and Business Performance Meeting materials.- Develop reporting templates, timelines, and performance dashboards.- Maintain and further develop KPIs, scorecards, and target management frameworks.- Translate financial results and trends into meaningful business insights.- Drive process improvements and contribute to the development of future ways of working within Finance.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Controlling, or a related field.- At least 8 years of relevant experience within finance, controlling, or performance management.- Experience leading planning, reporting, and forecasting processes in a complex organization.- Strong knowledge of management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.- Advanced skills in IBM TM1, Cognos Controller, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.- Experience within the energy sector, renewables, or infrastructure is considered an advantage.
