VanishID is seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Engineer to join their mission of keeping people and enterprises safe. This role involves owning the mobile app end-to-end and collaborating with product, design, and security teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship the mobile app, ensuring it aligns with the web dashboard's features.
- Set the technical foundation by collaborating with web and security leads.
- Implement push notifications for exposure events.
- Integrate anti-smishing features into the app.
- Manage the build, release, and crash-reporting pipeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
Requirement:
- 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps.
- Proficiency in native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
- Experience with push notifications and background tasks.
- Ownership mentality regarding codebase management.
- Security-minded approach to engineering.
- Nice to have: React Native/Expo experience, familiarity with device security signals, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
