Director of Accounts

The Director of Accounts, Car Rental will be the link between UVeye and one or more car rentals to ensure all their needs are being met and satisfied with the relationship and services being provided. The car rental account manager constantly work to brainstorm new ways to maintain a strong, positive relationship with clients and look for ways to expand the partnership/relationship.
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for our car rental client(s), establishing and developing long-lasting, trusted relationships with decision-makers at all levels and across relevant functions.
- Own the overall account strategy for each assigned customer, defining the multi-threaded engagement plan, value roadmap, and executive alignment needed to grow and retain the account.
- Provide strong internal leadership across Operations, Product, R&D, and other key stakeholders, ensuring teams are aligned on customer priorities, commitments, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional execution of the customer strategy, bringing together the right internal teams, establishing clear ownership and priorities, and driving accountability through completion.
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, translating customer needs, business objectives, and feedback into actionable priorities while balancing customer expectations with business and product capabilities.
- Lead account planning and execution by setting clear objectives, success metrics, stakeholder maps, and quarterly priorities, and ensuring internal and external stakeholders remain aligned against the plan.
- Identify opportunities for additional deployments, product development, or expanded partnerships with customers and build actionable plans to move those opportunities forward.
- Create and align cross-divisional customer strategies with customer stakeholders and internal business and product teams.
- Proactively monitor the health of the customer relationship, identify risks or areas requiring escalation, and lead internal coordination to develop and execute appropriate action plans.
- Measure, monitor, and influence customer targets and strategies, and lead monthly and/or quarterly business reviews.
- Help customers maximize the value they receive from UVeye’s products and the overall partnership, including identifying opportunities for platform education, training, and increased adoption.
- Travel to customer locations as needed to strengthen relationships and support key onboarding, deployment, training, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support other strategic projects as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience managing major Enterprise Accounts with Group references, preferably major car rental companies.
- 5+ years of experience leading managers or Team Leads within a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of scaling Customer Success organizations and driving measurable business outcomes across retention, adoption, expansion, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership and organizational management skills with the ability to coach leaders, drive accountability, and build high-performing teams.
- Need to be as comfortable speaking to various client stakeholders, including Department Leads, Executives, Field Teams, and Technical Leadership/Teams.
- Demonstrated experience building scalable operational processes, playbooks, and customer engagement frameworks.
- Strong analytical and operational mindset with experience leveraging dashboards, customer health metrics, CRM reporting, and data insights to drive strategy and execution.
- Exceptional executive communication, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated success driving expansion revenue, renewals, and long-term customer growth.
- Able to build and expand relationships with client growth by listening to client needs and identifying other opportunities.
- Through training, you will be given insight into best practices that will leverage and drive customer performance.
- Microsoft and or Google doc, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the Automotive, Dealership, Fleet Management, and Logistics landscape.
- Travel up to 60% of the time to various customer locations.

Compensation:
UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $170,000. In addition, this position is also eligible for a Bonus.
Travel & Physical Requirements:
This role involves regular on-site work within dealership environments and requires approximately 50% travel. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may experience extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and frequent movement throughout dealership service lanes, inspection areas, showrooms, and outdoor lots.
The role also requires the ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or other outdoor elements commonly experienced at dealership locations. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on site protocols.
