Sales Analyst
Utz is seeking a Sales Analyst to join our team in Bentonville, AR. The Sales Analyst provides analytical support and reporting for Walmart Inc., ensuring data integrity and delivering insights that inform business decisions. This role partners with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to develop recommendations that strengthen business strategies, improve processes, and enhance the accuracy of key deliverables. The Sales Analyst also tracks and manages omni-channel performance to help ensure effective customer reach and engagement across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide category and consumer trend data using retail insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales on customer presentations, line reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Manage new item setup, item maintenance, and track new item introductions to support line reviews.
- Develop actionable insights from research tools and historical data to drive sales growth.
- Utilize tools like Scintilla, , Supplier One , Circana, Profitero, and Stackline to provide category insights, ROI, and lift analysis.
- Maintain and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor business health.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Track and report omni-channel performance, optimizing alignment across online and brick-and-mortar platforms.
- Align with the Walmart team for accurate sales forecasts and track shipments to maintain inventory levels.
- Conduct analysis on e-commerce and brick-and-mortar sales data, identifying trends and gaps.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing product placement, promotions, and pricing across sales channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Conduct market visits and retail audits to support business planning and account growth.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in CPG, Sales Analytics, Customer/Trade Marketing, or Category Management.
- Experience with syndicated sales data tools such as Supplier One, Scintilla, , and Circana.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
