Title: SEASONAL - Video Editor (VFX & AE Focus) Location: Miami, FL - Remote

JOB OVERVIEW

Unrivaled is seeking an experienced Video Editor with a strong VFX and AfterEffects skillset to elevate our social content during the 2026–2027 Unrivaled season. The engagement is expected to begin on December 26, 2026 and continue through approximately mid-March 2027, subject to completion of the agreed scope of services. The services are expected to be performed remotely, except as otherwise agreed by the parties.

You'll be our go-to for building out motion graphics, adding visual effects, and creating animation templates to turn our highlights, campaigns, and partner content into more dynamic and visually driven pieces — while staying tightly aligned with our internal brand system and partner/sponsor guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design and execute visual effects, motion graphics, and animated elements for short-form and long-form social content (game highlights, hype content, partner & campaign assets, sponsor integrations)
• Build and maintain reusable AE templates, title cards, lower thirds, and effect packages that allow the broader content team to edit quickly without sacrificing quality
• Partner with the social, brand, and partnerships teams to ensure every asset reflects current brand guidelines and any partner/sponsor-specific requirements (logo placement, color, messaging restrictions, usage rights)
• Elevate raw footage with color correction, compositing, and effects work that matches Unrivaled's visual identity across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
• Collaborate with Content Producers and the Social team to conceptualize effects-driven content from pre-production to post-production
• Manage multiple projects and quick-turn requests in a fast-paced, real-time sports content environment
• Maintain organization of all created assets, project files and version control within our asset and archive systems

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 3+ years of video editing experience with a portfolio that demonstrates strong VFX/motion graphics work, beyond storytelling & narrative editing
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects (required); proficiency across multiple video editing software is highly valued ie. (Premiere Pro, Davinci, Final Cut Pro)
• Experience building a reusable motion graphic templates & effects system that scale across a content calendar, not just one-off pieces
• An eye for brand consistency — you can take guidelines and translate them into visually engaging work rather than treating them as a constraint
• Strong communication is a must given the remote nature of this role, must be able to respond in a timely matter consistently
• Must be knowledgeable of different file types with the ability to convert files types as needed
• Bonus: experience in sports, live events, or fast-moving social-first content environments
