Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Campus Visit Student Lead supports the Office of Admissions with daily operations, special projects, recruitment activities, and student employee support.
This position works closely with the Coordinator of Campus Visit Experience to help ensure assigned tasks and activities are completed successfully.

Data Entry

Enter inquiry cards into SLATE from group visits, high school visits, college fairs, and walk-ins; ensure all inquiry cards are entered into Slate by the end of every week.
Check “returned mail” bin and update addresses in Slate.
Add watch-tags as requested by Admissions Staff

Event & Visit Support.

Assist with set-up and tear down for recruitment events, group visits, daily campus tours, special orientations, and weekend visits.
Ensure campus spaces are unlocked and clean for guests; inform the Visit Coordinator of any issues you see.
Regularly check spaces on the first floor of the Student Union for cleanliness and accessibility, and report any issues to Facilities Operations, Aramark, or the Visit Coordinator.
Lead a small group of student employees during Admissions events by coordinating assigned responsibilities, providing direction and support, and helping ensure assigned tasks are completed successfully.

Student Employee Training

Assist with training new student employees as Welcome Desk Associates, Tour Guides, and Ambassadors as needed.
Office Maintenance - Maintain regular records of inventory on office supplies, including brochures, folders, T-shirts, presentation room snacks, and giveaway items (should be done weekly) and replenish as needed.
Restock presentation room snack bar and mini fridge as you see items running low.
Place orders for snacks and office supplies as directed.
Ensure student worker spaces are kept clean and tidy (not cluttered or disorganized) Administrative & Project Support.
Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
Assist with creating, reviewing, and updating training manuals and departmental resources

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have worked in the Admissions office as a Welcome Desk Associate, Tour Guide, or Ambassador for two full terms.

Anticipated Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
