Social Media Coordinator

UNiDAYS is looking for a creative Social Media Coordinator to support the growth of our organic social media channels. Working alongside the social media team.
Community management

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media  platforms
• Engage with our audience using UNiDAYS tone of voice
• Escalate customer queries or issues where necessary
• Help build and nurture an active, positive online community
• Support the team to fulfil giveaways

Content gathering & creation

• Film, edit and produce high-quality engaging content (photos, videos, user-generated content, trends) - travel to shoots will be required
• Assist with editing and uploading short-form content (e.g. Reels, TikToks and Stories)
• Organise and maintain a content library
• Support the creation of captions, hashtags, and post copy

Ideas & strategy support

• Generate creative content ideas aligned with students
• Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, and platform updates
• Keep up to date with Gen-Z culture and the competitive landscape
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and content planning
• Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

• A strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram and other key platforms, with the ability to spot and capitalise on viral trends
• Proficiency in social editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere or similar)
• Camera proficiency: you are comfortable both in front of and behind the lens
• Flexible and adaptable: an ability to respond to changing business needs
• A genuine interest and passion for social media
