About the Role:
We are seeking a Product Marketing Lead to help shape the market narrative, go-to-market strategy, and commercial success of our Workforce Management portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing for Workforce Management, this is a role for someone who can move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution—developing differentiated positioning, influencing product direction, and creating the messaging and content that help customers understand the value of what we build.
You will translate complex Workforce Management capabilities into clear business outcomes for enterprise buyers, including CHROs, CFOs, and senior HR and IT leaders. You will help shift the conversation from software features to strategic outcomes such as workforce productivity, operational efficiency, compliance, employee experience, and measurable return on investment.
As a cross-functional leader, you will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and senior leaders to help create a cohesive market approach. You will lead through influence, bring structure to competing inputs, and develop a clear point of view on buyers, markets, competitors, and the opportunities that matter most.
You will also partner with Product Management to shape roadmap priorities, coordinate with Analyst Relations to strengthen our market position, and support Marketing and Sales with the messaging and content they need to generate demand and win complex enterprise deals.
Responsibilities:
-Develop differentiated Workforce Management messaging and positioning that connects product capabilities to strategic business outcomes and clearly communicates why the problem matters, why our solution is different, and why customers should act now.
-Drive alignment in a matrixed environment by building consensus, managing dependencies, and influencing peers and leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and other departments.
-Advocate for the Workforce Management team’s go-to-market needs and contribute to broader GTM strategy, including product launches, pricing and packaging, commercialization, field readiness, and post-launch optimization.
-Partner with Product Management to synthesize customer, market, competitive, field, and usage insights into actionable recommendations that inform roadmap priorities and revenue-based product decisions.
-Support the GTM team in developing sales plays and create the supporting commercial content—such as value and ROI frameworks, executive presentations, objection-handling guidance, solution briefs, and other assets—that helps enterprise sales teams win.
-Partner with Marketing on ABM, demand-generation, webinar, and thought-leadership programs by providing the messaging, content, and market insights needed to generate qualified enterprise pipeline.
-Maintain a strong point of view on Workforce Management buyers, market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning, using voice-of-the-market insights to shape Product, Sales, and Marketing strategy.
-Coordinate with Analyst Relations and Product Management on analyst briefings, product narratives, and supporting materials, including editing content to ensure clarity and consistency.
-Work with Sales Operations to define and evaluate GTM KPIs, including pipeline, adoption, content effectiveness, competitive win rates, and other commercial signals; bring those insights to the Product team to support revenue-based prioritization.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
-5+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, including experience leading B2B SaaS or multi-product platform solutions.
-Proven ability to develop differentiated messaging and positioning that connects product capabilities to measurable customer and business outcomes.
-Experience developing executive presentations, sales enablement content, value propositions, ROI frameworks, and other commercial materials.
-Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and influence without formal authority across Product, Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
-Experience leading product launches or go-to-market programs from strategy and positioning through field readiness and performance measurement.
-Deep understanding of enterprise buying journeys and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including experience partnering with Product Management to inform roadmap decisions.  **We collaborate and succeed in a hybrid model.  3 days per week in one of these UKG offices is a requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex ideas and present effectively to senior leaders.
-Strong strategic and analytical judgment, with the ability to synthesize customer, market, product, competitive, and revenue data into clear recommendations and priorities.
-Experience in Workforce Management, HR technology, or adjacent enterprise software markets is a plus.
-Experience working with Healthcare customers or within the Healthcare vertical is also a plus.
-Familiarity with AI-enabled products or AI-supported marketing workflows is preferred.
Success in This Role Looks Like:
-A differentiated Workforce Management narrative that resonates with buyers, is consistently adopted across Product, Sales, and Marketing, and establishes the Product Marketing Lead as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders.
-Product Marketing content and GTM programs that improve enterprise sales effectiveness and contribute to measurable outcomes such as qualified pipeline, deal velocity, competitive win rates, customer adoption, or expansion.
-Customer, market, competitive, field, and product insights that meaningfully influence product roadmap decisions and revenue-based prioritization.
-Well-coordinated analyst engagements and strong collaboration with Analyst Relations that support the broader Workforce Management market narrative.
-Recognition as a trusted thought partner by Product, Marketing and Sales.
