The Transformation Delivery & Enablement team serves as the execution engine for Finance Digital Enablement. We ensure strategic initiatives are delivered consistently, adopted successfully, and produce measurable business outcomes. Through strong governance, disciplined execution, organizational readiness, and value realization, we help Finance accelerate transformation at scale.
About the Role:
The Director, Transformation Delivery & Enablement is responsible for leading the execution of Finance Digital Enablement’s transformation portfolio.
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance Digital Enablement, this role provides leadership across portfolio management, program delivery, organizational change management, communications, learning and development, governance, business readiness, and value realization.
This leader serves as the operational delivery lead for Finance Digital Enablement and partners closely with Business Owners, Global Process Owners, Finance leadership, IT Product teams, AI and Automation teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure transformation initiatives are effectively planned, governed, delivered, adopted, and sustained.
The Director will establish and lead a high-performing transformation team, enabling consistent execution while fostering accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the Finance transformation portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Finance Transformation Portfolio
- Own the Finance Digital Enablement portfolio across Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), AI & Automation, and future Finance transformation initiatives.
- Establish portfolio governance, prioritization, capacity planning, investment oversight, dependency management, and executive reporting processes.
- Ensure alignment between strategic priorities, available capacity, investment decisions, and delivery execution.
- Provide portfolio-level visibility into risks, opportunities, dependencies, and business outcomes.
Establish and Lead a Transformation team
- Build and lead a modern transformation team that drives consistency, transparency, and execution excellence.
- Establish delivery standards, governance models, methodologies, tools, templates, reporting frameworks, and best practices.
- Drive adoption of common project, program, change management, communications, and value realization approaches across the portfolio.
Lead Program and Project Delivery
- Provide leadership across complex cross-functional transformation initiatives spanning Finance, Accounting, IT, Procurement, Treasury, Human Resources, Sales, and other business functions.
- Ensure disciplined management of scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and quality.
- Drive programs from planning through implementation, stabilization, and operationalization.
- Deliver clear executive communications, decision support, and escalation management.
Drive Organizational Change and Business Readiness
- Establish organizational change management capabilities that support successful adoption of transformation initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, readiness planning, leadership alignment, communications, resistance management, adoption measurement, and stabilization activities.
- Ensure employees are prepared to adopt new technologies, AI capabilities, business processes, controls, roles, and ways of working.
- Monitor adoption effectiveness and implement corrective actions as needed.
Lead Communications and Learning Enablement
- Develop communication and learning strategies that support transformation objectives and accelerate adoption.
- Partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to deliver clear, consistent messaging and role-based learning experiences.
- Ensure communications and learning activities support long-term behavioral and process change.
Deliver Value Realization
- Partner with Business Owners and Global Process Owners to define business cases, baseline performance measures, and success criteria.
- Establish processes to track benefits realization, operational improvements, financial outcomes, control enhancements, and employee experience improvements.
- Monitor results and ensure intended outcomes are achieved and sustained.
Strengthen Governance and Performance Management
- Establish governance forums, steering committees, executive dashboards, reporting standards, decision-making processes, and escalation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain KPIs covering project health, portfolio performance, delivery effectiveness, organizational readiness, adoption, value realization, and transformation maturity.
- Ensure consistent reporting and transparency across the transformation portfolio.
Build Strategic Partnerships
- Develop trusted relationships across Finance, IT, Internal Audit, Procurement, Human Resources, executive leadership, and strategic vendors.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to leaders driving business transformation.
- Foster collaboration across functions to remove barriers and accelerate execution.
Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team
- Recruit, develop, and lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers, program managers, change practitioners, communications specialists, and learning professionals.
- Establish clear goals, accountability, development opportunities, and performance expectations.
- Create a culture focused on execution excellence, continuous improvement, innovation, and business impact.
What Success Looks Like:
Within the first 12–18 months, success in this role will include:
- Establishing the Finance Digital Enablement operating model.
- Implementing a single enterprise view of the Finance transformation portfolio.
- Standardizing project management, program management, change management, communications, learning, and value realization methodologies.
- Successfully delivering multiple strategic initiatives supporting Finance transformation and AI adoption.
- Establishing portfolio KPIs, executive dashboards, governance forums, and reporting standards.
- Building trusted partnerships across Business Owners, Global Process Owners, IT, and executive leadership.
- Implementing portfolio intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and escalation processes.
- Creating a culture of disciplined execution, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience leading enterprise transformation programs, portfolio management, PMOs, digital transformation initiatives, or business transformation efforts.
- Demonstrated success establishing and leading a Transformation Management Office, Enterprise PMO, or similar delivery organization.
- Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives involving Finance, Accounting, technology, automation, AI, or enterprise systems.
- Strong expertise in portfolio management, governance, program delivery, organizational change management, communications, business readiness, and value realization.
- Experience developing executive dashboards, governance frameworks, KPIs, portfolio reporting, and performance measurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior leaders without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of Finance transformation, technology implementation, process improvement, organizational change, and benefits realization.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, strategic planning, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or other relevant program management or organizational change certification.
- Experience supporting Finance transformation, ERP modernization, AI adoption, intelligent automation, shared services, or operating model transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or technology-driven organization.
- Experience leading global transformation portfolios across multiple business functions.

The pay range for this position is $163,900 to $235,550. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
