Senior Analytics Engineer - Technology & Transformation

About the Opportunity

• Join a dynamic, purpose-led Kiwi organisation with data at the centre of decision-making
• Take ownership of curated datasets, semantic models and reporting layers that the business relies on
• Work across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI to deliver trusted, scalable analytics products
• Partner closely with stakeholders to translate real operational needs into robust solutions
• Contribute to emerging AI-enabled capabilities, including AI-ready data assets and research/agent workflows

What You’ll Bring 

• Strong hands-on SQL and proven analytics engineering / BI delivery experience
• Practical capability building semantic models and governed metrics for Power BI
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks (lakehouse/warehouse patterns, pipelines, notebooks)
• Confidence working through ambiguity, technical debt, shifting priorities and stakeholder change
• Solid engineering habits: Git, testing/validation, documentation, and DataOps-style delivery
