SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Location: Remote (U.S. based)

ABOUT SWARM

SWARM serves the operators who feed the world, and they are ready to buy. Agrifood companies are drowning in volatile data and making margin-critical calls on gut and spreadsheets. We give them AI that surfaces the right decision before volatility steals their margins. Your job is to put it in front of every operator who needs it.

THE ROLE

We’re hiring an Account Executive to find, win, and close agrifood operators who need SWARM. You’ll own the full cycle, from first call to signed contract, selling to COOs, VPs of Operations, and supply chain leaders at grain, fresh produce, feed,/animal protein, and ag co-operatives. You’ll work directly with the CEO on every major deal, land the lighthouse accounts that define our next chapter, and help shape how we sell as we scale.

If you’ve closed enterprise deals in ag or food and want to be early at a company that just closed an oversubscribed round, this is your seat.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Revenue

• Carry a quota and hit it. You’ll close new enterprise logos and expand existing customers from one optimization into several.
• Build the deal flow that gets you there through your own network, our investor and co-op relationships, and targeted outbound. Marketing supports you, but you are the engine.
• Forecast with discipline. Your pipeline is the number leadership and the board plan against.

Enterprise Deals in 4 Verticals

• Sell into grain and milling, fresh produce, animal protein, and agricultural cooperatives.
• Win multi-stakeholder deals with COOs, VPs of Operations, supply chain leaders, co-op GMs, and the CFOs and CEOs who sign.
• Build the business case in their language: margin protected, waste avoided, cost per unit lowered, payback inside the first year.

Market Position

• Land the lighthouse accounts in each vertical that become the references that sell the next 10.
• Represent SWARM at industry events, co-op meetings, SWARM Pulse events, and the conferences where our buyers gather.
• Bring field intelligence back to shape product, pricing, and positioning.
• Partner with implementation on scoping and handoff, so every deal you close becomes a customer who renews and expands.

QUALIFICATIONS

Track Record

• 7+ years of enterprise B2B sales, with a consistent record of hitting or beating quota.
• Closed complex, multi-stakeholder deals in the $150k to $300k range with 6 to 12 month sales cycles.
• Sold software, analytics, or technology into agriculture, food, or agribusiness. Experience selling optimization, AI, or supply chain software is a strong plus.

Industry Credibility

• You know how these businesses make and lose money: commodity price swings, procurement and pricing decisions, plant and packing capacity, logistics, and labor.
• Existing relationships with operators in grain, fresh produce, animal protein, or ag cooperatives. You can get a meeting with a COO or co-op GM on your own name.
• Comfortable on a plant floor and in a boardroom, and able to speak to both.

How You Sell

• You build the business case in dollars, not features, and defend it to a CFO.
• You self-source. You don’t wait for leads, and you thrive without a large sales org behind you.
• You forecast precisely and say so early when a deal is slipping.

Compensation: $140K to $160K base plus uncapped commission, with equity and benefits.

SWARM is an equal opportunity employer.
