Over two exciting years, you will rotate across several departments such as Middle Office, Trading Operations, Market Analysis, Credit Analysis, or Shipping. These rotations will allow you to gain an appreciation for our key functions preparing you to grow your career within the Trading business units.

The four rotations will consist of a blend of Trading & Shipping (crude oil, oil products including biofuels) and Gas & Power Trading (gas, LNG and power) assignments, the last of which, subject to performance, could be based in one of our international offices. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic and enriching multi-energy journey!

Our program will be engaging and intense. In addition to usual business activities, we are offering a comprehensive training program including:

• an intense and immersive integration week at our headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

• a dedicated development program that blends on-the-job and online training.

• regular mentoring sessions with our Talent Developers.

What’s next?

• Applications will be accepted until October 18, 2026. Should you be selected for the first round of interviews, you will be notified no later than October 26, 2026.
• The interview process will involve up to 4 rounds of remote and onsite meetings (HR interview, sessions with our Managers and Traders including a case study and an assessment with our senior leaders).
• Successful applicants will join the program on October 1, 2027. There may be an opportunity to begin earlier depending on business needs.

TotalEnergies’ trading activities are carried out by two divisions, Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas & Power (TGP) both present in Houston and representing a total workforce of around 200 employees in North America (Houston and Mexico).

TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S), an international trading company, puts its expertise to use in the global energy markets. With its biomass blending and trading activity, TotalEnergies T&S is an active participant in the development of sustainable biofuels. Our maritime transport expertise also helps to reduce the carbon footprint of sea transportation and we recently announced the time chartering of new vessels equipped with LNG propulsion.

TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP) is the trading arm of TotalEnergies in the field of low carbon energies (gas, LNG and power). As such, it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution. Uncertainties specific to the trading environment (volatility of prices, supply & demand mismatches) are coupled with those coming from the broader energy sector (climate change policies, changes in the energy mix, developments of new energy sources, etc). In such context, TGP helps to ensure growth and profitability to a key segment of the business in order to reach the objective of Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
