DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth of our advanced imaging portfolio by combining strong scientific expertise with technical sales and customer engagement.

The role will primarily support EVOS, High Content Screening (HCS), advanced imaging, and Spatial Biology workflows, while also identifying opportunities to connect imaging platforms with complementary reagents and applications.

KEY RESPONSONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical consultation, instrument demonstrations, application support, and customer training for EVOS, High Content Screening (HCS), and advanced imaging platforms to accelerate opportunity conversion and customer adoption.
  • Drive growth of high-end imaging, Spatial Biology, and multiplex imaging workflows through strategic demonstrations, KOL engagement, customer education, and reference site development.
  • Support fluorescence imaging reagents, antibodies, and new product introductions (NPIs) through application consultation and workflow optimization, identifying reagent attachment and cross-selling opportunities with imaging platforms.
  • Partner closely with Sales, TSS, Marketing, and channel partners to identify customer needs, develop technical value propositions, and support strategic commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging imaging applications to identify new business opportunities and provide actionable market insights.
  • Strengthen internal and partner capabilities by providing technical and application training on imaging technologies, workflows, and product positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and scientific stakeholders, serving as a trusted technical partner throughout the customer journey.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant technical sales, application support, or laboratory/industry experience in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in cellular imaging, fluorescence microscopy, high-content analysis, or related life science imaging workflows preferred
  • Experience in delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, customer training, application consultation, or technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer-facing and commercial mindset, with the ability to understand scientific needs and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers in academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related life science markets.
  • Strong understanding of relevant market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging scientific applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and consultation capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
