Short Summary:
Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Assist in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Serve customers and stock merchandise
- Inspect produce for quality and freshness
- Promote Corporate Brands to customers
- Prepare produce platters/trays
- Answer customer questions regarding products
- Maintain knowledge of products sold
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Requirement:
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Current food handler permit once employed
- Comparable retail experience preferred
- Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing) is a plus
