Short Summary:
Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated.
- Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products and make suggestions.
- Offer product samples and inform customers of Drug GM specials.
- Review "sell by" dates and take appropriate action.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies.
- Reinforce safety programs and comply with safety procedures.
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
- Provide support through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Requirement:
- Retail experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Knowledge of basic math
