Network Engineer

We’re looking for a Voice Core Network Engineer to join us at Telia.
I’m Jurijus Kravcenka, Head of Voice Operations FI LT, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on the operations and development of Voice Core services in Finland and Lithuania, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider Telia footprint and driving the transition towards the next generation of cloud-native telecom networks.
What you’ll do:
Be a key contributor in maintaining, developing and securing Finland's mobile Voice Core services and platforms.

• Operate, maintain and develop Voice Core platforms and services in Finland, including VoLTE, VoNR and Voice Interconnect.
• Create operational improvements, automation capabilities and service quality enhancements through lifecycle management, testing, software upgrades, and modernization activities.
• Consult and collaborate with vendors, architects, developers, operations teams and customer-facing stakeholders to resolve complex service issues.
• Handle incidents, customer complaints, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations and participate in on-call duty supporting critical voice services.

• Proven experience in Voice Core, IMS, telecom operations or mobile core network environments.
• Strong knowledge of telecom services and protocols (such as SIP, Diameter and SS7/SIGTRAN), Linux environments, as well as solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and IP domain.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents, analyze logs, traces and signaling flows, and drive problems to resolution across multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on skills in scripting, automation or operational tooling.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
