At T-Systems Netherlands, you can work on complex, business-critical transformation programs while maintaining direct influence, visibility and impact. You benefit from the opportunities of a global organization, together with the accessibility, short communication lines and team spirit of a local company.
Your Mission
As Senior IT Program Manager, you own the end-to-end orchestration of complex customer-facing IT programs and service transformations. You connect strategic demand, delivery execution and operational continuity, ensuring measurable outcomes while services remain stable, secure and customer-focused.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who creates direction in an evolving environment, aligns executives and delivery teams, manages dependencies and capacity, and turns priorities into an executable roadmap. Success depends more on leadership, judgement and stakeholder influence than on deep technical specialization.
What you will do:
Program and transformation leadership
Lead complex migration, transition and transformation programs from initiation through stabilization. Define outcomes, governance, integrated plans, milestones and benefits. Coordinate workstreams, resolve cross-team dependencies and drive timely decisions.
Customer and stakeholder leadership
Act as the primary senior interface for customer stakeholders. Build trusted relationships, support strategic discussions, navigate organizational change and align interests across the customer, internal teams and delivery partners.
Demand, roadmap and backlog
Own and maintain the integrated roadmap. Translate customer and business demand into a transparent, prioritized pipeline and actionable backlog, balancing value, urgency, risk, capacity and service impact.
Delivery governance and planning
Establish fit-for-purpose governance and prepare program increments, iterations or sprints. Monitor scope, schedule, quality, budget, risks, decisions and actions. Initiate recovery or back-to-green plans where required.
Resource and capacity management
Forecast demand and capacity, shape staffing plans and coordinate onboarding. Ensure the right capabilities are available at the right time and coach project managers, workstream leads and multidisciplinary teams.
Service delivery and continuity
Oversee RUN activities alongside CHANGE delivery. Protect operational stability, service quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring changes are introduced in a controlled and sustainable way.
Operating model and supplier alignment
Support the transition towards managed services and help define the future operating model. Clarify responsibilities, interfaces and scope boundaries between internal teams, suppliers and partners.
Continuous improvement and automation
Promote continuous improvement. Use delivery and service insights to remove recurring issues, improve flow and strengthen reliability.
Commercial awareness
Recognize emerging customer demand and growth opportunities and connect these to the appropriate commercial or business-development teams. Contribute delivery insight to strategic and proposal discussions without owning formal offer preparation.
