Senior Kotlin/Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Kotlin/Java Backend Engineer who will play a key role in designing system architecture, building APIs, and delivering impactful product features. You will work closely with experienced engineers to shape the technical direction of our platform and ensure we maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
About the project 
Tangem Pay is a next-generation payment solution that enables users to spend cryptocurrency directly via a virtual Visa card anywhere cards are accepted. The product is already live in production, designed to scale across regions, currencies, and regulatory environments, and serves as a bridge between self-custodial crypto assets and real-world financial payments.

• Design and implement resilient, scalable, and high-performance backend services;
• Develop clean, maintainable, and extensible Kotlin/Java code;
• Build and maintain financial and payment-related services;
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions;
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making;
• Continuously improve system reliability, observability, and performance.

• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin/Java;
• Strong experience working as a Backend Engineer in production environments;
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles, and common patterns;
