About the Position
As a Cloud Expert Sales (m/f/d/x) in our IT Large Enterprise East specialized sales unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of our key enterprise clients in Berlin and Leipzig. You will act as a strategic bridge between technical innovation and measurable business value.
In this role, you will lead complex pre-sales engagements from initial discovery through to contract signing. Leveraging your deep expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid/multi-cloud environments, you will design tailored solution architectures and robust business cases. You will engage in high-impact discussions with senior technical and business stakeholders up to C-level, lead RFP/RFI responses, and collaborate closely with Account Management and Delivery teams to achieve sustainable sales growth.
Your profile
- Proven Cloud & IT Infrastructure Expertise: Solid hands-on experience in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) as well as hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Pre-Sales & Technical Consulting Track Record: Several years of experience in technical advisory, solution engineering, and RFP/RFI bid management within B2B Large Enterprise accounts.
- Solution Design & Business Case Modeling: Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into tailored solution designs and compelling business cases.
- Stakeholder Management & Negotiation Skills: Strong presentation and negotiation capabilities with experience consulting up to C-level stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Business-fluent German and professional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Relevant cloud certifications at professional or architecture level (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Architect)
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and IT compliance in the enterprise environment (e.g., GDPR, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS-2)
- Experience with agile sales and project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Design Thinking)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and modern cloud-native architectures
- An existing network of key decision-makers across the large enterprise sector in the Eastern Germany region
