Short Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Supplier Enablement & Ariba Operations Specialist to support supplier setup and maintenance activities associated with Ariba and PeopleSoft projects. This role will manage end-to-end supplier onboarding and maintenance requests, troubleshoot complex issues, support system cleanup initiatives, and ensure accurate supplier data.
Responsibilities:
- Create new suppliers and modify existing supplier records within Ariba and PeopleSoft.
- Manage end-to-end supplier setup, maintenance, and onboarding requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex supplier and process-related issues.
- Respond to questions from internal teams, managers, and external suppliers.
- Prioritize and independently resolve escalated requests.
- Partner with Ariba, Sourcing & Contracts, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Enabling Capabilities, and Business Groups to ensure successful supplier onboarding and transaction readiness.
- Perform system cleanup activities, including researching and inactivating unused supplier locations.
- Analyze process risks and identify opportunities for improved controls and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain procedures, documentation, and training materials.
- Ensure supplier data accuracy and maintain a reliable system of record.
- Support increased supplier activity associated with ongoing technology projects and system implementations.
Requirement:
- Experience with supplier onboarding, supplier management, procurement operations, or related business processes.
- Experience working with SAP Ariba and/or PeopleSoft preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage escalations and complex requests independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal direction.
- Experience documenting procedures, identifying process risks, and supporting continuous improvement.
