Short Summary:
Wilhelm Automotive (part of the Sun Auto Network) is committed to providing the best customer service and high-quality service work. The General Service Technician conducts non-technical automotive service repairs, including oil changes and tire services, while maintaining shop cleanliness and customer transport.
Responsibilities:
- Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation.
- Conducts oil changes and other basic services as directed.
- Observes vehicle condition and reports any needed repairs or safety concerns.
- Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service areas.
- Safely transports customers and picks up parts using the company vehicle.
- Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines.
Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum age 18.
- Current or ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days.
- General understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
