Transformation Project Manager IV – Mobility & Convenience
Contract Duration: 6–12 Months
Travel: Approximately 25% – primarily Cleveland, OH (approximately one week per month)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager IV to support a large-scale strategic transformation within the U.S. Mobility & Convenience retail business. This role will help develop the strategic roadmap, prioritize transformation initiatives, and drive execution across multiple workstreams.
The ideal candidate combines management consulting-style strategic thinking, strong quantitative analysis, executive-level communication, and hands-on transformation/project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the Mobility & Convenience retail business.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic initiatives.
- Lead multiple transformation workstreams from strategy through implementation.
- Break down complex business challenges and conduct root-cause analysis, opportunity sizing, and scenario planning.
- Build business cases, financial models, forecasts, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Translate complex data and stakeholder input into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Develop C-suite-ready presentations, executive narratives, strategic roadmaps, and recommendations.
- Create project charters, plans, timelines, milestones, and success measures.
- Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall transformation performance.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Support change management, including stakeholder communications, transition planning, adoption, and training strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve business performance throughout the transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in strategy consulting, transformation, project/program management, or business strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting large-scale strategic, operational, digital, or organizational transformations.
- Strong strategic problem-solving and structured-thinking capabilities.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, KPI development, and business-case analysis.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Experience presenting strategies and recommendations to executive and senior leadership.
- Expert-level PowerPoint/storyboarding skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Asana.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining ownership of deliverables and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous management consulting or corporate strategy experience.
- Experience within Energy, Oil & Gas, downstream retail, fuel operations, or convenience retail.
- Knowledge of retail operations, customer experience, merchandising, store performance, mobility trends, or network optimization.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of organizational change management principles.
