Senior SAP Business Analyst – Asset Accounting

Position Summary

The SAP Business Analyst – Asset Accounting will support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, with primary responsibility for Asset Accounting processes throughout the fixed asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting solutions.

• Configure and support asset accounting processes including acquisitions, capitalization, transfers, depreciation, settlements, and retirements.

• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to optimize business processes and controls.

• Support integration between Asset Accounting and other SAP modules including FI, CO, MM, and PS.

• Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and conversions.

• Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.

• Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of SAP Finance experience with a focus on Asset Accounting (FI-AA).

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.

• Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation, asset under construction (AUC), and asset settlement processes.

• Experience gathering requirements and producing functional design documentation.

• Understanding of SAP FI integration with CO, MM, and PS.

• Experience supporting testing, deployment, and post-production support.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
