Position Summary
Seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to lead execution of a complex technical project and oversee a team of lead and senior developers. This role is responsible for coordinating coding activities, structuring technical work, developing prototypes, evaluating technical alternatives, and collaborating with architecture teams on system and application design.
The position will establish technical goals and direction for the team while providing training and guidance to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding in the financial domain
- Must have led and managed at least 3–5 mid-to-large-sized custom implementation projects
- Enterprise-level Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, and LWC
- Experience with Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs
- Salesforce integration experience
- Expert knowledge of IT architecture principles
- Deep understanding of SDLC and application architecture concepts
- Strong Salesforce Financial Cloud domain knowledge
- Strong communication skills with the ability to drive requirements refinement with business stakeholders and work with architects to design and lead application development

Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution for a complex technical project and oversee a team of lead developers and senior developers
- Monitor and coordinate coding activities across the project
- Develop prototypes and evaluate alternative technical solutions
- Structure technical work for medium-to-high complexity projects
- Collaborate with architecture teams in the design of systems and application programs
- Establish and communicate technical goals and direction for the team
- Provide direction, training, and guidance to less experienced staff
- Design, develop, code, and test complex tactical and strategic technical solutions across multiple technologies
- Integrate existing systems and tools while collaborating with engineers and architects
- Lead code and design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Investigate and resolve complex application, system, and production issues
- Identify system performance issues and technical debt and optimize solutions
- Build integrations needed to provide a Member 360° view
- Deliver adviser-led financial planning capabilities integrating with external vendors such as MoneyGuide
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures
