Job Title: Operations Analyst – Insurance Services

Location: Cohoes, NY

Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $26/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

• This role supports insurance services operations within a financial services environment, working with internal teams and third-party insurance carriers to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Prepare and review new insurance applications and related documentation as requested by the business.
• Work directly with third-party insurance carriers to ensure proper implementation and processing of applications.
• Coordinate and process team-specific operational tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Perform quality reviews of completed work to ensure data accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
• Work across multiple systems and platforms to process transactions and maintain accurate information.
• Collaborate with different teams and business partners to research and resolve ongoing issues.
• Provide operational support and assist with special projects as requested.
• Apply sound business judgment to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activities and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures related to quality, client service, information security, and regulatory requirements.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows
• Microsoft Excel proficiency; advanced Excel skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound judgment and ability to identify and escalate potential issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of an organization as well as external third parties
