IT Project Manager
St. Louis, MO (Hybrid/onsite 1-3 days per week)
12+ Months with opportunity to extend
W2 Contract role

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced IT/Digital Project Manager to lead technology projects and initiatives across a variety of areas. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Project Manager who can manage multiple concurrent projects, work effectively with business and technical teams, and adapt their approach across predictive/waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT/Digital projects from planning through closure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, RAID items, and status reporting.
• Coordinate activities and dependencies across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects that may span applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, vendor solutions, and other technology initiatives.
• Facilitate project meetings, decisions, governance, and change control.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variances.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive accountability for project commitments and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Ensure projects follow applicable project governance and control processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in medium to large organizations.
• Demonstrated experience managing technology projects using predictive/waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-team dependencies.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, financial management, risk, issue, and change management skills.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project/Planner and Jira.
• PMP preferred but not required.
• Degree preferred but not required.
