Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / P&C Advisor to support employees and line managers during a period of organizational transition and post-separation hypercare.
This role will serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day people-related questions and issues, providing practical HR guidance, coordinating issue resolution, and partnering with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business leadership.
The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused HR professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage a high volume of employee and manager inquiries, navigate ambiguity, and quickly identify and resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
HR Hypercare & Transition Support
- Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers during the post-transition hypercare period.
- Provide timely guidance on people-related matters, including policies, HR systems, benefits, payroll, reporting relationships, and employment processes.
- Track, triage, and resolve employee and manager inquiries.
- Identify recurring issues, risks, and themes and escalate them to the appropriate HR stakeholders.
- Support the transition of HR processes, policies, systems, and service providers.
- Help employees and managers understand and adopt new HR processes and ways of working.
Employee & Manager Support
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to employees and line managers.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
- Respond to employee concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Help managers navigate people processes and organizational changes.
- Support a positive employee experience throughout the transition.
Issue Resolution & Business Continuity
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Payroll, Reward, Talent Acquisition, IT, Digital, and external providers to resolve employee issues.
- Coordinate resolution of complex employee cases and organizational matters.
- Escalate high-risk or sensitive issues appropriately.
- Maintain clear communication and follow issues through to resolution.
- Help minimize disruption to critical HR and people processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop strong working relationships with employees, managers, leaders, and HR stakeholders.
- Collaborate across HR functions to deliver consistent employee support.
- Communicate employee sentiment, recurring issues, risks, and emerging trends to HR leadership.
- Provide practical guidance and recommendations based on employee and business needs.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce employee friction and improve HR service delivery.
- Document lessons learned and recommend improvements to HR processes.
- Contribute to FAQs, manager toolkits, employee communications, and other HR guidance materials.
- Help identify process gaps and opportunities to improve the employee experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, HR Generalist, People Advisor, P&C Advisor, or related HR roles.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience providing HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Strong customer service and employee-support mindset.
- Experience managing a high volume of HR inquiries and competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience working with HR systems and employee data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Workday experience.
- Experience supporting organizational change, transformation, separation, or business transitions.
- Experience working in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
- Experience in a large, complex, or multinational organization.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.
- Experience supporting HR processes during organizational separation or integration.
- Familiarity with HR Centers of Excellence and shared-services operating models.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, or P&C Advisor who is comfortable serving as a first point of contact for employees and managers.
They should be proactive, resilient, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working through ambiguity. Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to triage HR issues, coordinate across multiple HR functions, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and follow issues through to resolution.
Key Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree
