Sales Development Representative

Who we are & why this matters now

AI unlocks amazing creative powers, but how can we trust it? Stensul is at the forefront of the AI revolution, and, for major global brands like BlackRock, Cisco, Equifax, and Siemens, our platform answers the critical question: what is safe to ship?

The world’s most important enterprises in banking, healthcare, pharma have a pressing need for governance that allows them to scale their campaigns with AI – more personalized, for higher sales – while also controlling the risks of AI, by keeping control of brand, compliance, and quality. Stensul is the AI governance layer.

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to open conversations with marketing leaders at Fortune 1000 companies. You’ll research target accounts, find the people who own AI and content operations, and turn cold outreach into qualified meetings for our Enterprise Account Executives.

This role is based in New York City and is hybrid, with 3 days per week in our NYC office.

We live by four values: Lead with Customer Value, Garra, Move with Purpose, and Win as a Team. If you want to start your sales career selling into the biggest enterprise marketing teams at the moment AI is reshaping how they work, keep reading.

What you’ll do

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the first conversation many enterprise buyers have with Stensul. You’ll work in partnership with our Account Executives and Account Managers to build pipeline across a defined set of target accounts.

The people you’ll reach are marketing, brand, and operations leaders who are being asked to scale content with AI while protecting brand and compliance. Your job is to understand that pressure and show them why a conversation with Stensul is worth their time.

• Run multi-channel outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and video, with messaging personalized to each account and persona

• Research target accounts and map business units, buying committees, and key decision makers

• Use AI tools to accelerate account research, prospect insights, and message personalization, while keeping every touch relevant and human

• Set qualified meetings for your Account Executive or Account Manager and hand them off with the context needed to move the deal forward

• Develop fluency in enterprise marketing operations, AI governance, and the problems Stensul solves

• Log activity and insights in Salesforce and use data to test, learn, and improve your outreach

• Share what you hear from the market with Sales, Marketing, and Product to sharpen our messaging and targeting

What we’re looking for

We care more about potential than years of experience. This role is a fit if you have:

• A track record of high performance in whatever you’ve done so far, in school, sports, a previous job, or a project you built

• Strong written communication. You can write a short, sharp message that earns a reply

• Confidence to reach out to and hold conversations with senior leaders, up to C-level executives

• Curiosity about AI and how it is changing enterprise marketing

• Hands-on experience using AI tools in your daily work

• Coachability and drive. You take feedback fast and keep going after a no

• A data-driven approach to your own activity and results

• Experience in sales, business development, or another customer-facing role is a plus, not a requirement
