As a Senior Security Engineer, you will Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for Microsoft Azure services to protect cloud environments against security threats. Manage identity and access controls to ensure secure access to Azure resources. Implement and maintain network security measures to prevent unauthorized access and protect cloud infrastructure. Monitor security alerts, investigate potential threats, and respond to security incidents promptly. Implement data protection mechanisms and security controls to maintain data privacy and confidentiality. Support security compliance, auditing, and risk assessment activities to ensure adherence to relevant standards and policies. Utilize Azure security tools and services to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and strengthen the overall security posture. Perform threat hunting and analyze security events to identify suspicious activities and potential attacks. Use PowerShell or Python scripting to automate security operations and improve operational efficiency. Document security procedures, technical configurations, incident reports, and operational best practices. What You Bring to the Table Proficiency in Microsoft Azure security tools, services, and cloud security practices. Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms. Understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, network segmentation, and secure connectivity. Knowledge of data protection, data privacy, and security compliance requirements. Experience monitoring security alerts, investigating threats, and responding to security incidents. Familiarity with threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security risk assessment. Knowledge of Windows PowerShell or Python scripting for security automation. Understanding of security frameworks, identity protocols, and auditing processes. Familiarity with IBM Security Access Manager is beneficial. Azure security certifications are an advantage. You should possess the ability to Analyze security alerts and identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities. Implement effective security controls to protect Azure resources, identities, networks, and sensitive data. Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate remediation measures. Apply security policies and compliance requirements consistently across cloud environments. Automate repetitive security tasks using scripting and relevant security tools. Maintain accurate technical documentation, audit records, and incident reports. Communicate security risks and recommendations clearly to technical teams and stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to improve cloud security. Stay updated on emerging Azure security threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
