Account Director, Channel Partnerships

About the Role

We’re hiring an Account Director to join our Channel Partnerships team and drive revenue growth across an individual book of agency partners. Reporting to the Head of Channel Partnerships, you’ll own the full partner lifecycle: prospecting ICP partners, managing inbound leads and closing new business, enabling partners to sell Stacker to their clients, driving syndication credit utilization, and expanding existing accounts.

You will own a $2M+ ARR revenue target and be accountable for turning agency relationships into active, productive, and growing revenue streams. Success requires a combination of sales execution, commercial account management, partner enablement, and operational discipline.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Channel Partnerships and cross-functional teams to implement repeatable systems that drive partner engagement, utilization, retention, and growth.

About Stacker

Stacker is a content distribution platform that partners with brands and agencies to transform data-driven stories into high-authority editorial coverage across a network of premium publishers.

We operate at the intersection of earned media, SEO/GEO, and brand storytelling, helping clients earn visibility, authority, and discoverability at scale. Our growth is driven by a powerful channel: agency partners who resell and operationalize Stacker within their client portfolios.

As a bootstrapped, fast-growing company, we’re resourceful, innovative, and committed to building an inclusive, equitable culture. We’re a remote-first team that values ownership, integrity, and collaboration, offering flexible schedules, unlimited vacation, an employee equity program, and full health & dental coverage.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Generation & Account Growth

• Own and grow an individual book of agency and strategic partners, with a $2M+ ARR revenue target

• Prospect into ICP agencies and manage inbound leads and opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and discovery to pitching, negotiation, and close

• Build strong partner relationships and proactively identify growth opportunities, revenue risks, and actions needed to achieve targets

Partner Enablement & Activation

• Understand each partner’s business model, client portfolio, and growth objectives to identify opportunities for Stacker

• Implement repeatable training, sales resources, and playbooks that equip partners to effectively position and sell Stacker’s syndication services to their clients

• Proactively drive partner activation and sales activity by identifying opportunities, addressing engagement gaps, and building Stacker into partners’ ongoing client workflows

Credit Utilization & Partner Success

• Drive syndication credit utilization by helping partners identify opportunities across their client portfolios and put purchased credits to work

• Monitor credit usage and account activity to identify underutilization, adoption gaps, and renewal risks, and proactively implement activation plans

• Leverage partner performance, demand, and business outcomes to support renewals, retention, and account expansion

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Head of Channel Partnerships to align on revenue goals, account strategy, pipeline priorities, and partner performance

• Work cross-functionally with the Editorial Enablement, Sales Ops, Value, and Marketing teams to support partner needs, coordinate deliverables, and drive partner success

• Communicate partner feedback, opportunities, and challenges to internal teams to improve Stacker’s offerings and partner experience

Operational Excellence & Repeatable Systems

• Establish structured partner engagement cadences, including regular check-ins, account planning, and QBRs, to drive accountability and growth

• Use CRM and internal tools to track pipeline health, revenue, credit utilization, renewals, and expansion opportunities, proactively addressing risks to performance and retention

• Implement repeatable workflows, playbooks, and best practices that improve sales execution, partner activation, and account growth

About You

You think in revenue, not tasks. You take ownership of revenue targets, manage the full sales cycle, and drive new business, renewals, upsells, and expansion while prioritizing partner activation, credit utilization, and long-term growth.

You know how to activate partners. You build trusted relationships, influence agency partners, and equip them with the positioning, resources, and support needed to successfully sell Stacker to their clients.

You implement systems that scale. You use data, structured workflows, and repeatable processes to manage your book of business, identify growth opportunities, drive accountability, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve partner success.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, channel partnerships, or a similar revenue-owning role, with a proven track record of managing a book of business and achieving revenue growth

• Demonstrated success managing leads and full sales cycles, closing new business, and driving partner adoption, credit utilization, renewals, and account expansion

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Experience using CRM and account management tools to manage pipelines, forecasts, and account performance

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with marketing agencies, PR firms, media buyers, or B2B marketing services

• Familiarity with content marketing, earned media, SEO/GEO, or digital PR
