Growth Lead

📬 About Stable

Our mission is to make it simple to headquarter any business on the internet. Today, we provide companies with a business address and a dashboard to manage their physical mail online. Over 15,000+ companies like Brex, Doordash, and Gusto use Stable to automate their mailroom and act as their permanent business address with the IRS, state, and vendors.

The rules that regulate US entities were written in the 1800s. Stable abstracts these antiquated requirements with tools that empower modern companies to move forward faster.

These rules don't make sense for the way we work today — work takes place in the cloud and businesses are no longer tied to physical proximity or geography.

We’re on a mission to fix the broken system of entity management. Starting with business addresses and mail, we’re abstracting the complex, archaic systems that make company-building painful and turning them into delightful experiences — so that modern businesses have the tools they need to move forward faster.

We're backed by leading Silicon Valley investors like Y Combinator, Craft Ventures, Shakti, Hustle Fund, and founders from companies like Lattice, Apartment List, and FlexJobs.

Our business is at an inflection point. We’re growing quickly with a product people love and we’ve proven we can service companies of all stages and industries — from early-stage startups to publicly traded companies in industries like technology, logistics, and property management.

This is an opportunity to join an early-stage startup as one of the first employees and do work that directly impacts the future of how companies are built.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Role

We're looking for a Growth Lead to own how Stable acquires, converts, and expands customers across both our self-serve and sales-led motions.

You'll own the number, not just the campaigns.  Self-serve revenue and sales-led pipeline are your north star metrics and you will be equally responsible for the enterprise buyer who fills out a "contact sales" form and the solo founder who never talks to a human and pays online with a credit card in this role.

This is a senior individual contributor role for the immediate future with an opportunity to eventually build a small team as the function grows. What we need first though is someone who can think clearly about the whole system and then go build it with the support of AI. This is a hands-on role, and the person in this seat should be building AI systems that let them operate like a team of five. If your instinct when facing a repetitive problem is to build a system to tackle it next time rather than grind through it, we should talk.

😀 What you value

• Be human: Lead with empathy, act with authenticity, and enjoy what you do.
• Stay curious: Invent novel solutions by asking why, listening, and tinkering.
• Act quickly with purpose: Focus on what matters, iteratively improve, and move urgently towards the goal.
• Insist on exceptional outcomes: Strive for excellence and take ownership over the outcomes you deliver.
• Exceed customer expectations: Create delightful experiences with each interaction.

✅ What you'll dp

Targets & Ownership

• Build the plan that achieves growth targets across both self serve ARR and sales pipeline
• Own a multi-million dollar budget: set the investment split across motions, channels, and programs, and own the forecast against it
• Decide what we ramp up, what we ramp down, and what we stop entirely and defend each call with numbers
• Regularly present on growth performance and learnings to the leadership team

• Partner with sales and the leadership team to define ICPs and create the campaigns that win deals, and own the feedback loop that informs what we do next

Channels & Demand

• Own end to end execution across paid and organic acquisition channels
• Build and own AEO and AI search as a first-class channel

• Own lifecycle strategy across the customer journey: onboarding, activation, engagement, cross-sell, and win-back

AI Systems and Leverage

• Build the systems that make this scope possible: i.e. AI-assisted research, content production, competitive monitoring, funnel analysis, reporting, etc.
• Use agents and automation to do work that would otherwise require headcount or an agency

Experimentation and Measurement

• Define hypotheses, success metrics, and testing methodology, and share honest learnings about what worked and what didn't
• Own outcome metrics (pipeline, revenue) and efficiency metrics (CAC, payback period)
• Build reporting that gives the team a clear view of what the key growth drivers are

✨ Requirements

• 8+ years in growth, demand generation, or performance marketing, with experience spanning both PLG/self-serve and sales-assisted motions
• Experience owning and allocating a meaningful budget: you've made the call on where seven figures goes and been accountable for what came back
• A track record of moving revenue and pipeline numbers, not just launching campaigns
• Demonstrated AI fluency: you've built workflows, agents, prompts, or internal tools that changed how you work. Be ready to walk us through something you built and what it replaced
• Experience taking a channel 0 → 1
• Comfortable presenting growth performance and investment tradeoffs to a leadership team
• Strong analytical and editorial chops
• Experience owning or working closely with an SEO program, and a point of view on how AI search changes it
• Highly autonomous, and at home in an area that's ambiguous and still being defined
• Equally comfortable setting strategy and getting into the details

🎁 What we offer

• Competitive salary and generous equity 🚀
• Unlimited paid vacation 🏖
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance 🏥
• Home office set-up 🖥
• Work from anywhere within US time zones (GMT-5 to GMT-10) 💻
• Opportunities to shape the future of Stable and grow into leadership roles 💌
