St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School seeks a Teacher Assistant to support learning activities, assist instruction, and maintain records while fostering a Catholic culture within the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the supervision of learning activities and provides support to students.
- Provides instruction as prescribed by the Teacher and reinforces skills.
- Assists in evaluating students’ work and works with students individually and in small groups.
- Manages student behavior and maintains classroom order.
- Escorts and supervises students during various activities.
- Assists in lesson plan preparation and classroom activities.
- Maintains student records and performs other assigned tasks.
Requirement:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience working with children.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency with computer network systems and software.
- Ability to work with children from Kindergarten through Middle School.
- Undergoing a FDLE Level 2 background check.
