Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering solutions for OpenShift towards operations and onboarding.
- Onboard business workloads, support troubleshooting, and triage problems.
- Provide multitier support (Tier 1 to Tier 3), including a 24/7 escalation schedule.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as code using Lambda, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Puppet.
- Design automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions and integrate workloads to containerized workflows with automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Agile scrum teams to establish and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate code analysis tools such as Sonar Cube and Fortify into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide access management to Infrastructure and DevOps tools.
- Troubleshoot Infrastructure issues and collaborate with AWS support for resolution.
- Develop automation to reduce routine manual effort.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing system performance via analysis and potential modifications.
- Develop solutions for Monitoring, Alerting, and Trending with AWS Cloudwatch, SNS, New Relic, and Splunk.
- Be available 24/7 for incident response during mission-critical events.
Requirement:
- 8+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- DevOps experience in AWS Cloud environment is a must.
- In-depth knowledge in OpenShift/Kubernetes, preferably 4.x, ArgoCD, and GitOps.
- Experience with system configuration tools like Ansible.
- Proficient scripting skills in Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
- Good communication skills, self-motivated, and positive attitude to work independently in a team environment.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Candidates must have lived in the United States for 3 out of the past 5 years.
