Deli Assistant - Full Time

SPAR Croi Oige, Athlone Co. Westmeath, require a full time Deli Assistant to join their amazing team. 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full Time Deli Assistant. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department.

The Role:

• Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches

• Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations

• Maintain a clean and organized deli counter and work area

• Receive and process deli orders accurately and efficiently

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure products are well-stocked

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold quality standards

• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve department goals

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required, as we are willing to train the right individual.
